Daily cigarette consumption Indonesia 2019 by age group

According to a survey on regular smokers in Indonesia in 2019, the majority of regular smokers between 15 to 19 years old smoked between five to nine cigarettes a day. By comparison, the majority of regular smokers between 40 to 45 years old smoked between ten to 15 cigarettes a day. While cigarette smoking is decreasing all over the world, Indonesia seems to be bucking the trend. Indonesia has one of the highest smoking rates in the world and is one of the biggest producers of tobacco worldwide.
