Processed data supporting microbiota biogeography and predicted functional compartmentalization along the digestive tract of weaned Altay lambs

This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Microbiota biogeography and predicted functional compartmentalization along the digestive tract of weaned Altay lambs.” It contains processed microbiome data from 144 samples collected from 12 consecutive digestive tract segments of 12 weaned Altay lambs. The deposited files include sample metadata, an ASV abundance table with corresponding taxonomic annotations, and PICRUSt2-predicted KEGG pathway and KEGG Orthology profiles. The ASV abundance and taxonomy tables can be linked using the FeatureID column.
