The incidence of scabies parasite in Al-Muthanna province (Case Study)

This particular study by the Environment and Pollution Laboratory/Department of biology at the University of Al-Muthanna in southern Iraq stands as the first exploration into the scabies parasite infection. The study highlights one case of Sarcoptes scabiei discovered in a twenty-year-old individual with a severe infection. The dermatologist confirmed the presence of mite lesions on the individual in question. The current research presents a noteworthy difference in the IgM and IgG values between the infected person and the control group before treatment. However, there was a non-significant difference in the IgM and IgG values after treatment.
