fNIRS Data from Study on Chinese Handwriting and Character Amnesia

This dataset contains functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) data collected during a Chinese character handwriting task (Xu et al., 2025). The study investigates the neural substrates associated with character amnesia in Chinese handwriting by examining task-related hemodynamic responses in cortical regions. The dataset includes raw fNIRS recordings from the dictation task. Data were collected from neurologically healthy participants. This dataset is intended to support research on the neurocognitive mechanisms of handwriting.
