Genomic epidemiology of E. coli ST131-H30 among U.S. children

This purpose of this study was to characterize the genomic epidemiology of E. coli ST131-H30 among U.S. children using clinical extraintestinal E. coli isolates collected from four U.S. hospitals from individuals ages 0-21 years. Whole genome sequencing was conducted on clinical isolates on an Illumina NextSeq platform. While the majority of the sequences are the E. coli ST131-H30 subtype, there are also some other E. coli types included in this BioProject.
