资源简介:
Host genetics can influence gut microbiota recovery following antibiotic disruption. We investigated the role of the B4galnt2 glycosyltransferase gene in modulating post-antibiotic microbiota restoration in mice. Using a longitudinal, multi-omic approach integrating 16S rRNA sequencing, metagenomics, and metatranscriptomics, we compared microbiota dynamics in B4galnt2+/– and B4galnt2–/– mice treated with streptomycin, kanamycin, and vancomycin. This study provides insight into genotype-dependent microbiota recovery and underscores the role of host glycosylation in shaping microbial resilience after antibiotic exposure.
