Éléments de géométrie algébrique (EGA): Canonical French and Standalone English Editions

2026-08-08 EGA II printed p.26 / standalone-English R194 identity checkpoint. This same-concept successor maintains exactly two independent cumulative editions. The canonical diplomatic French reader and master are now admitted through EGA II printed p.26. The independent standalone English EGA 0–IV source was rechecked sentence by sentence for the corresponding page; no source-grounded correction was necessary, so R194 is an exact 127-file identity successor and the 1,345-page English reader was correctly not rebuilt. French and English retain separate masters, sources, manifests, QA, and reversible ledgers; there is no bilingual, paired, parallel, side-by-side, interleaved, or combined reader. Printed p.26 completes paragraph 2.3.2 and formula (2.3.2.5), gives paragraph 2.3.3 and formulas (2.3.3.1)–(2.3.3.2), Proposition 2.3.4 and proof, paragraph 2.3.5 and diagram (2.3.5.1), and Proposition 2.3.6 with proof through the printed page edge. The French reader is 160 pages; physical p.160 passed serialized visual QA. F25, B26F, E2P26, R194, and C28 preserve exact manifests, hashes, decisions, and inverses. The verified EGA I 3.3.1 arbitrary-category sum correction remains retained through REF5/R192. 03_INDEX.md remains non-reader semantic metadata. Canonical French EGA 0–IV remains incomplete; after this public closure the next direct-NUMDAM cursor is EGA II printed p.27, continuation of Proposition 2.3.6.
