Netherlands: enterprises collecting, treating and supplying water 2012-2022

The number of enterprises in the water collection, treatment, and supply industry in the Netherlands increased by three enterprises (+8.33 percent) in 2022. Therefore, the number of enterprises in the Netherlands reached a peak in 2022 with 39 enterprises. In accordance with EU REGULATION (EC) No 250/2009 only companies are included here which were active during at least a part of the reference period. It also includes local units (branches) which do not constitute a separate legal entity and which are dependent on foreign enterprises.
