In Nowicki's philosophical system there is no place for the immortality of the soul. Rather, he believes in the immortality of the individual through his works. They continue to live after the death of those who made them and have active lives in the "encounters" with works by other authors. Sometimes a fragment, a thought, is enough to make a work perpetuate itself together with its author. This is how "man is eternal".
