<b>Global Burden of Disease (GBD) data on thyroid cancer among adolescents and young adults (15–39 years) in China and worldwide, 1990–2021</b>

This dataset was obtained from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Results Tool (https://vizhub.healthdata.org/gbd-results/).<br>It includes data on thyroid cancer among adolescents and young adults (aged 15–39 years) in China and globally, covering the period from 1990 to 2021.The dataset contains the following indicators (as available from GBD):IncidencePrevalenceMortalityDisability-adjusted life years (DALYs)These data were used to support the findings of the study:<br><i>"Trends in the disease burden of thyroid cancer among adolescents and young adults: A comparative study of China and global estimates (1990–2021)"</i>.<b>Data source statement:</b><br>The original data are publicly available from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) via the GBD Results Tool. This deposited dataset represents the subset of GBD data extracted and analyzed in our study, to ensure reproducibility of results.
