Prenatal growth retardation in <i>Nipbl+/−</i> embryos.

Embryos were obtained at the indicated times from crosses of N0Nipbl+/− males and CD-1 females. Reduction in weight of 18–19% in mutant embryos is apparent at both ages, without a significant difference in placental weight. *P<0.001. †P = 0.64, by Student's t-test.
