Behavior in traffic of West Germans.

Topics: The following was surveyed for the household: size of
household; possession of a telephone; housing situation; distance to
nearest stop of some means of public transportation within reach on
foot; number of stops within reach. The following was surveyed for
individual persons in the household: number of trips and means of
transport used. Detailed information on number, point in time, length,
distance and destination of the routes traveled on the day of interest
as well as means of transport used.

Demography: age; sex; marital status; school education; occupational
position; employment; composition of household; characteristics of head
of household; residential status; possession of drivers license; class
of drivers license; possession of vehicle; number of trips and means of
transport used.

Also encoded was: size of municipality class; weekday of interview and
date of filling out form.
