Number of private equity-financed IPOs on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange 2013-2023

More IPOs in Germany were financed by private equity in 2021 than in previous years. In 2021, a total of 14 IPOs in Germany were private equity-financed, up from four in the previous year. However, IPOs not funded by private equity have historically outnumbered those fueled by private equity. In 2023, there were no IPOs on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, which private-equity financed.
