Antibiotic contamination in China's environment

The data were collected through a systematic search of the published literature. Studies were identified using electronic databases such as PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Key search terms included “antibiotic”, “China”, “water”, “manure”, “soil”, “sediment”, “biota”, “human”, and specific antibiotic classes (e.g., fluoroquinolones, tetracyclines, sulfonamides). Only studies published in peer-reviewed journals and available in English or Chinese were included. Data were extracted from studies that reported antibiotic concentrations in the specified environmental matrices.
