This dataset was manually created by finding the related texts within the Mandatbücher from the City-State of Bern. The numbered-names are based upon the https://policey.lhlt.mpg.de/web. The HTR was predominantly done in 2020. • Handwritten Mandaatbucher- StAB A I 479-514. • Tool: Transkribus (READ-COOP SCE). • HTR+-model (CITlab): German_Kurrent_XVI-XVIII+French • CER: 11,35% (Train); 7,51% (Val.) for the whole period. A few texts were processed using the TrOCR-model "TextTitan" also within the Transkribus platform (READ-COOP SCE).
