In the reliability-based management of corroded transmission pipelines, accurately estimating the failure probabilities of pipeline segments with respect to burst and leakage is crucial for risk-informed pipeline maintenance. Conventionally, pipeline reliability is assessed using the Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) method. Approximately 36.5 million defects, each simulated with 106 trials, are analyzed to generate the benchmark results used for model training and validation. The CSA function is adopted as limit state function.
