The study was designed to investigate the influence of changing social contexts on family formation behaviors, marriage, childbearing, and contraceptive use. The research investigates the extent to which changes in the community produce changes in family formation behavior, and whether the family organization of individual life courses produces these changes in behavior.本研究旨在探究不断变迁的社会情境对家庭组建行为、婚姻缔结、生育决策及避孕行为的影响。本研究同时考察社区环境变化在多大程度上会引发家庭组建行为的改变，以及个体人生历程中的家庭组织模式是否会催生此类行为变化。
