Electron Microscopy Analysis of Circulating Particles from cf-mtDNA-enriched EDTA Plasma

This dataset contains transmission electron microscopy (TEM) imagery and morphometric analysis specific to <b>EDTA plasma</b> collected from ten healthy participants (5 females, 5 males). As part of a larger study investigating cell-free mitochondrial DNA (cf-mtDNA) and extracellular mitochondria (ex-Mito), this subset focuses on characterizing circulating double-membrane particles and extracellular vesicles isolated via centrifugation and size-exclusion chromatography. These data contribute to a biofluid-specific inventory challenged with distinguishing naked cf-mtDNA from potential mitochondrial transfer mechanisms.
