Share of vegetarians in the Netherlands by age group 2020

In the Netherlands, young adults under the age of 26 are the most likely to have either a vegan or vegetarian diet. 3.5 percent of respondents to a 2020 survey in the age group of 18 to 25 indicated that they avoid meat and fish. At the same time, less than one percent of respondents aged 65 and over were vegetarians.
