Derxia lacustris HL12 is a gram-negative bacteria from the class β-protobacteria, familyAlcaligenacea, collected from fresh water. Along with D. gummosa DSM 723, it isphylogenetically placed within the genus Derxia. Its genomic sequence has approximately5.5 Mpb with a G + C content of 69,10%. In this study, it ispresented the draft of D. lacustris HL12 genome, bacteria capable of biologic nitrogen fixation.
