Australian synthetic healthcare data with Synthea

We developed an Australianised version of Synthea. Synthea is a synthetic data generation software that uses publicly available population aggregate statistics such as demographics, disease prevalence and incidence rates, and health reports. Synthea generates data based on manually curated models of clinical workflows and disease\nprogression that cover a patient’s entire life and does not use real patient data; guaranteeing a completely synthetic dataset. We generated 117,258\nsynthetic patients from Queensland.
