European Wild boar reference

The rapid progress of sequencing technology has greatly facilitated de novo genome assembling of pig breeds. However, the assembly of wild boar is still unavailable, hampering our understanding on genomic evolution during domestication from wild boars into domestic pigs. Here, we sequenced and de novo assembled a European male wild boar (EUW) genome using the long-range information provided by the 10x Linked-Reads sequencing.
