Metagenome of oral specimens and dentin in pregnant women from an indigenous community

Pregnant women from indigenous communities are predisposed to develop edentulism, and there are many factors that may be related, including the economic, political and social situation. In this pilot study the aim was to identify relationships between the microbial community of oral and dentin samples from pregnant and non-pregnant women from an indigenous community in Ecuador.
