Brassica napus Transcriptome or Gene expression

Brassica napus, commonly referred to as rapeseed, is a vital source of vegetable edible oil. To enhance its quality, this study endeavors to explore time-series gene expression in rapeseeds with varying sterol levels. From the KN DH population of 348 lines, 30 lines with relatively high and 30 lines with relatively low concentrations of total sterols were chosen and segregated into two groups. At 28, 35, and 49 days post flowering, seed samples from these 60 lines were collected and preserved for subsequent transcriptomic analysis.
