Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1969, Omnibus no. 11

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1969 comprises 11 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1969. This data material contains information from omnibus no. 11. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. # #The questions common to all 1969 omnibuses are: degree of urbani- zation; sex; age; marital status; number of persons in household (children/adults, over/under 15); occupational status of head of household; total income of family; the respondent's occupational status; the respondent's educational status; the respondent's in- come; position in household of respondent and spouse; occupational status of housewife; social class; type of dwelling; and party preference. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Attitudes to MP salaries; the Vietnam War; lowering of the elec- toral age to 18 or 20; the performance of the Government; expec- tations of 1970 (prices, unemployment, labour market unrest, eco- nomy, living standards, peace in the world, the power of the USSR, the USA and China); the commercialization of Christmas; Christmas cards; Christmas Eve; Boxing Day; and Christmas expenditure
