Sustained-release anti-JUN therapeutic abrogates post-operative adhesions [scRNA-Seq]

Radiation therapy is an important treatment component for a majority of cancer patients but involves significant side effects. In this study, we establish a large animal (porcine) irradiation model that recapitulates key clinical features of skin radiation induced fibrosis. We perform single cell-RNAs seq on porcine tissue following irradiation. Furthermore, we analyze the effect of Deferoxamine (DFO) treatment on Radiation Induced Fibrosis (DFO). Overall design: scRNA-seq of unsorted cells from pig skin tissue following various radiation regiments.
