Zhiketaohua Powder in the Treatment of Variant Asthma

Zhike Taohua Powder (ZTP) is a drug derived from the Chinese folk prescription 'Taohua Powder' for the treatment of cough. It is mainly composed of Fritillaria cirrhosa, Pinellia ternata, Mentha canadensis, Moschus, Borneol, Cinnabar, and Gypsum fibrosum preparatum. Its main effects are clearing lung and removing phlegm, clearing nose and clearing heat, relieving cough and relieving convulsion. It is used for the treatment of pertussis, sputum, chronic cough. It also has certain potential for the treatment of cough variant asthma (CVA).
