This series comprises Trial Balance Registers for the Hurstville Municipality. Trial balance books were created to record the final debit and credit amounts for the monthly accounts of council's departments. They were divided on columns over two pages with handwritten (1) and printed headings (2) containing the following information: folio number; section, Name of Sub Head and half yearly balance entries – month by month. Balance entries (final debit and credit amounts) are handwritten.
