资源简介:

This dataset contains high‑resolution time‑series measurements of seawater carbonate chemistry and associated biogeochemical fluxes from controlled dome experiments involving reef‑building corals and crustose coralline algae (CCA). Measurements include total alkalinity (TA), dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), pH, dissolved oxygen (DO), carbonate ion concentration (CO₃²⁻), calcium (Ca), strontium (Sr), and Sr/Ca ratios, alongside calculated parameters such as aragonite and high‑Mg calcite saturation states (Ω). Derived variables quantify temporal changes (Δ) and fluxes (d/dt) for key chemical species, enabling estimation of calcification, dissolution, photosynthesis, and respiration rates under day and night conditions. The dataset spans multiple experimental periods (day and night cycles) and organism types (e.g., Acropora spp., other corals, and CCA), with each row representing an individual measurement event. These data are intended to support analysis of coral reef biogeochemistry, organism‑specific metabolic responses, and the coupling between seawater chemistry and calcification processes under controlled experimental conditions.
