NSF EAGER Spillover of Fungi from Coffee to Forest

Project goal was to determine which fungi are present in coffee and forest understory leaves and which are detected in passively-collected air samples or on the external surfaces of birds (beaks, wings, feet collectively) to examine potential movement of fungi from coffee reservoirs to plants in the forest understory.
