Nitrogen (N) stands as an essential element for plant growth, with soil microorganisms within the rhizosphere acting as vital components in soil ecosystems. These microorganisms play a pivotal role in preserving soil multifunctionality and supporting plant nutrition. Despite this crucial role, there is limited knowledge concerning how the rhizosphere microbial community composition of tiger nut in sandy soil responds to nitrogen addition. In this study, high-throughput sequencing technology was employed to meticulously analyze the shifts in composition and co-occurrence networks of rhizosphere microbial communities in tiger nuts within sandy farmland following nitrogen addition.
