Flock House virus was expressed from two co-transfected pMT cDNA plasmids containing one copy each of RNA1 and RNA2 in Drosophila cell culture (S2). The expressed viral inoculum (P0) was then serially passaged for 3 days nine times (P1-P9) in triplicate (R1-3). Virus particles were extracted and purified from the inoculum and after each passage, the RNA was isolated and sequenced using the ''ClickSeq'' Illumina short reads and ''MinION'' nanopore reads of the full-length cDNAs.
