ICEQuant_DATASET

ICEQuant is a multimodal dataset for ice accretion and ice shedding monitoring on bridge cables. The dataset contains representative ice accretion videos, ice shedding events, LiDAR recordings, thermal sensing data, and image data collected under controlled experimental conditions.The experiments were conducted in the Jules Verne Climatic Wind Tunnel at CSTB, Nantes, France, where atmospheric icing conditions were reproduced in a controlled environment. The dataset provides synchronized measurements from multiple sensing modalities, including optical cameras, thermal sensors, and LiDAR systems.The experimental campaign was carried out within the ICEQuant project under the ERIES (Engineering Research Infrastructures for European Synergies) framework, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme (Grant Agreement No. 101058684).
