Gut microbiota analysis associated with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
收藏资源简介:
Here we report 16S rRNA data in gut microbiota of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus with/without hormone treatment compared with healthy volunteers resepctively. A total of 1576 operational taxonomic units (OTUs) were identified in the sequence data. Statistical analysis of the differences among groups showed a clear alteration of the bacterial gut community. The Bacteroides were dominated genus and used as a biomarker in SLE patients without hormone therapy subjects. However, those genera of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium which are the most important symbiotic bacteria and produce butyric acid and other short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) by fermentation of dietary fiber in the SLE patients with hormone therapy patients gut showed a tendency to increase.
