The primary objective of this project is to use metagenomics for viral discovery across humans and nonhuman primates, and rodents using a 'One Health' approach. Lemur, human, and rodent samples were collected from the Duke Lemur Center in Durham, North Carolina. Diverse viruses were characterized across fecal, blood, and saliva samples.
