Gene expression of leaders and laggers MiaPaCa-2 pancreatic cancer cells during perineural invasion

To investigate the mechanisms of cancer cell migration during perineural invasion in pancreatic cancer, we injected fluorescently labelled MiaPaCA-2 cells in the sciatic nerves and collected the leader and lagger cells. We re-injected half of leader cells after in vitro growth and recollected leader cells. The cycle of harvesting, growth in vitro, and sciatic nerve injection was repeated serially 4 times. We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of Lag-1, Lead-1-4 (numbers representing the passage number) and from non-injected MiaPaCa2.
