The microbiota is known to exert substantial effects on shaping an organism's immune system and immune composition of organs. Here we questioned the effect of the microbiota on the transcriptional signature of mouse liver tissue at baseline and during regeneration. A two-thirds surgical partial hepatectomy was performed in germ free (GF) mice and mice colonized with altered scaedler flora (ASF). Mouse liver tissue was analyzed 3 hours post resection by RNA seq.
