Heterostemma carnosum (Apocynaceae, Asclepiadoideae), a new species from Papua New Guinea The new species, Heterostemma carnosum is described, illustrated and compared with the similar species Heterostemma dalzellii. The two species differ in peduncle, pedicel and corolla size as well as in leaf shape.
