资源简介:
Project - MATCH: Monitoring Athletes, Trainers, Coaches and Health professionals- Knowledge of the epidemiology and severity of injuries and illness in young female elite athletes is lacking- A monitor system (surveillance method) was developed for collecting data from questionnaires and physical tests- The project resulted in several datasets (see reference to Figshare collection) Research- Objective: to gain more insight into the injuries and illnesses of young female elite athletes by recording injury and illness prospectively throughout a full season.Data- Participants: 60 young elite Dutch female athletes participating in soccer (n=23), basketball (n=22) and gymnastic (n=15) talent development programmes (CTO Amsterdam). - Data collection: all athletes completed the Dutch version of the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center Questionnaire on Health Problems every other week during the season 2014-2015.- Main outcome measures: average prevalence of injury and incidence density of injury.- Fileset contains three csv-files as source data (one for each sport); three processed xlsx-files to compute prevalance, incidence and health problem characteristics; four spss-syntax-files (*.sps) for analyses and labeling. Protocols and further details are described in a pdf-file and a data dictionary.- Because of the sensitive nature of the data, the fileset is confidential and will be shared only under strict conditions.
