Solanum melongena Transcriptome or Gene expression

The molecular mechanism of parthenocarpy, a desirable trait of horticultural crops, is widely investigated, but still unclear in eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The transcriptomic profiles of a natural parthenocarpic and two non-parthenocarpic eggplant cultivars were analyzed using RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) technology in this study. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were filtered and analyzed. So as to provide insights into eggplant parthenocarpy.
