Deep Gulf of Mexico ECOTRAN food web model parameters

This data set includes ECOTRAN food web model parameters for the Gulf of Mexico Deep Sea Ecosystem Model. The food web model is vertically integrated from the surface epipelagic to the upper bathypelagic depth zones. Functional groups include bacteria, gelatinous zooplankton, crustacean zooplankton, myctophid fishes, large piscivorous fishes, sea birds, and marine mammals. For each functional group, a set of parameters are provided: biomass (wet weight mt/km2/yr), annual production rate, consumption rate, ecotrophic efficiency, diet matrix, fisheries landings, and detritus fate.
