Membranes 2023, 13, 911. https://doi.org/10.3390/ membranes13120911 This dataset includes the results of the test perfomed and presented in the paper.   File and folder structure Results_ Feasibility of Forward Osmosis to Recover Textile Dyes_Membranes.ods has 4 folders. Each folder presents the result obtained in the dye concentration study with a forward osmosis membrane.  Folder 1: Draw solution selection This folder presents the test performed to select the suitable draw solution. The membrane test were permormed with three different solutions, NaCl (1M), MgCl2 (1M) and Na2SO4 (1M). Folder 2: Test_with_NaCl(0.5M;1.5M;2M;3M) This folder presents the characterization of the cellulose triacetate (CTA) flat sheet forward osmosis membrane (FTSH2O) from Fluid Technology Solutions (Albany, OR, USA). The characterization was performed with NaCl at different concentration (0.5M, 1M, 2M and 3M). Folder 3: FO_test_for_dye_concentration This folder presents the three different test performed with the FO membrane for dye concentration. Test 1 was performed with NaCl (1M) as draw solution (DS) and a model solution with dye (MS1, 0.05 g/L Remazol turquoise blue G 133% + 0.5 g/L Na2SO4 + 0.5 g/L NaCL) as feed solution (FS) Test 2 was performed with Brine solution (58.44 g/L NaCl + 8.50 g/L Na2SO4 + 25.76 g/L MgCl2·6H2O) as DS and a model solution with dye (MS1, 0.05 g/L Remazol turquoise blue G 133% + 0.5 g/L Na2SO4 + 0.5 g/L NaCL)  Test 3 was performed with Brine solution (58.44 g/L NaCl + 8.50 g/L Na2SO4 + 25.76 g/L MgCl2·6H2O) as DS and a model solution with dye (MS2, 0.05 g/L Sirius Blue K-CFN + 0.5 g/L Na2SO4 + 0.5 g/L NaCL)  Folder 4: Characterization_FO_test_ This folder presents the characterization of the FS and DS of the tests carried out  (test 1, test 2 and test 3).
