RNA-Seq libraries of hemorrhoids tissue containing combined small RNAs and poly(A) RNA species. Overall design: A group of 38 patients undergoing surgery for hemorrhoids (n=20; cases) and anal fissures (n=18; controls) were enrolled to the study. Next-generation RNA sequencing (Combo-Seq) of both mRNA and miRNA transcripts was performed on total RNA of hemorrhoidal tissue from 20 patients and 18 healthy controls.
