CLASSIFICATION OF INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS IN EDUCATIONAL QUALITY ASSESSMENT (PIRLS, TIMSS, PISA, TALIS) AND THEIR PROSPECTS

This article examines the functions of international standard systems, which represent an important component of global experience in the field of education. It explores their main objectives and provides examples of their implementation. Furthermore, the article discusses the benefits that participating countries gain from these systems, while also highlighting their prospects and existing shortcomings. Future goals and directions for development are also proposed, illustrated through the example of the education system of Uzbekistan.In addition, the study analyzes the functions and objectives of international assessment standards and presents an analysis of Uzbekistan’s statistical indicators in this field.
