We report the mineral compositions of plagioclase and hornblende grains from a hornblende-rich polycrystalline clot in the granodiorite of the early Eocene Caina intrusive complex in the Gangdese batholith, southern Tibet. The major elements of plagioclase and hornblende grains were measured using Electron Microprobe at Key Laboratory of Continental Tectonics and Dynamics of Ministry of Natural Resources, Institute of Geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Beijing 100037, China. The plagioclase grains from the polycrystalline clot have similar anorthite contents (An number) with plagioclases from the host granodiorite and both belong to andesine series. The hornblende grains from the polycrystalline clot have same Mg/(Mg + Fe2+) and Si (p.f.u.) values with their counterparts in the host granodiorite. This dataset is a supplementary for the manuscript (ID JPET-Jun-25-0117) submitted to Journal of Petrology.
