Product of 2021 WAFWA multi state effort to review plains sharp-tailed grouse range and incorporate any new data. Regional biologists were consulted and provided their local knowledge as well. Used the 2017 range for starters, which was based off of Wyoming Natural Diversity Database (WYNDD) predicted presence and absence models. A general polygon was drawn around the presence model while consulting Wildlife Observation System (WOS) data of sharp-tailed grouse sightings and other data.
