At the bottom of the photo, a man in a light-colored shirt stands with his hands on his hips looking up, while a man in a dark-colored shirt to his right looks to the left, holding a walking stick. The rock formation behind them has deep grooves, but otherwise smooth surfaces, and a pillar has been made through natural erosion towards the left, supporting a layer of rock between it and the larger plane of the formation's right half. Boulders and rubble litter the sand around the travelers' feet.
