Coexistence effects on behavioral and reproductive characteristics of invaders dung beetles

Some invasive dung beetles have a high biological plasticity, so they modify some characteristics of life story to persist in the ecosystems. We evaluated the coexistence effects on Euoniticellus intermedius and Digitonthophagus gazella under natural and laboratory conditions. The response variables that we measure were: number and weight of brood balls in the field, the number of emerged beetles, pronotum width of females emerged and the horn size of emerged beetles on laboratory.
