Eddy-covariance measurements of lake evaporation over Ross R Barnett Reservoir, Mississippi
收藏资源简介:
An eddy covariance flux tower was deployed at the Ross Barnett Reservoir (RBR), Mississippi (32°23′17″ N, 90°01′53″ W), to measure hydro-micrometeorological conditions over open water. The tower was installed on a stationary 3 m × 3 m wooden platform positioned approximately 1 m above the water surface, where the water depth is about 5 m. The distance from the tower to the shoreline ranges from 2 km to 14 km, depending on direction. Hydro-micrometeorological variables were recorded at 1-minute intervals using Campbell Scientific dataloggers. The dataset includes four-component radiation, air temperature, wind speed, and precipitation measurements, as well as vertical water-temperature profiles measured at 14 depths. In addition, eddy covariance flux measurements were collected at two heights on the tower and sampled at 10 Hz. Further details on instrumentation and data processing are provided in the data description file, RBR_Data_Description_README.pdf.
