Global 1km forest Aboveground Biomass Loss dataset in 2001-2020

This dataset describes Global Aboveground Biomass Loss by forest disturbance in 2001-2020.The Spatial resolution of thisdataset is 0.00833333 degree in GCS_WGS_1984.The AGB data based on GEDI SAWA indices was used as a benchmark data, MODIS Global lAnd Surface Satellite (GLASS) datasets were used to retrieval the AGB from 2000 to 2020.Different AGB retrieval models were developed by Random Forest considering different forest types within different continents. The Global Forest Change dataset from UMD-GLAD were used to assist in etracting forest disturbance areas in 2001-2020.The overall accuracy of the dataset is close to 75%.
